Sit'N'Go Poker
What exactly is all the hype about Sit N Go Poker
Tourneys?
A Sit N Go is generally a game where you can sit down at any
time of day and enter in a tourney, then leave with your
winnings and re-enter another one if you wish, almost
immediately. They literally run non-stop at any poker site
online. This is an advantage for players not wanting to wait
for a seat at a ring game.
Sit N Gos require a buy in for the tournament, say $6 plus 50
cents for the house. The $6 goes toward the pot and the rest for the
site you're playing on. If you lose, you've only lost your buy in
and you're not using money in hand per play. This reduces the
variance for Sit N Go players. Single table Sit N Gos are a great
way to increase a skilful player's bankroll. If you learn the proper
strategy, you can win consistently.

| If you can, try to play in more then one Sit N Go at a
time so you have better odds and you're not easily bored by
the slow pace of one game. Of all types of poker games, Sit
N Go's are ones that you should take notes on. Take player
notes and keep track of your own identity flaws and how to
improve them. As you play more Sit N Gos, you'll know what
it is you did wrong with each, like folding too soon, or
making bad decisions with the cards. Start with a small buy
in to get a feel for the game and then gradually go for
larger buy-ins as you get more skilled.
Sit N Go's are really fun and usually have a low buy in, making
it attractive for the player who is not so skilled or new to online
gaming. It's a great “get your feet wet in poker” kind of game, but
could turn quite profitable once you get the hang of it.
